High Fidelity

Three issues of High Fidelity in which I was much involved, from the magazine’s glory days. The critical discographies (of Verdi, Mozart, Wagner, and Russian opera), though now outdated as to completeness, to the best of my knowledge remain unique in their method of comparison and thoroughness of critical commentary. The question asked in the issue at R. has not gone away, though we might now add, “and if so, what?”
