A confluence of life events has compelled me to re-schedule the post originally announced for today to Friday, April 7. I will be discussing Richard Wagner’s Lohengrin—its new production by the Metropolitan Opera, the performance led by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and of course the masterwork itself, especially in the light of the interpretation proposed by it director, François Girard.
